In Kursk, 8 toilets in rest areas are preserved until spring

The Kursk City Committee began preparing parks and squares for the coming cold weather. In this regard, part of the public restrooms located in recreation areas will be temporarily inaccessible to visitors.

In total, the committee is responsible for bathrooms in eight public spaces. With the onset of frosts, their work will be suspended, the Kursk mayor’s office said.

The list of facilities that will be closed for the winter includes:

kLZ park;

recreation area "Ermoshkino Lake";

dzerzhinsky Park;

civil War Heroes Park (except for one object);

heroes Park of the 16th Air Army;

pioneer Park (except for one object);

Semi-mountain (except for one object).

However, four toilets will continue to function even in winter. We are talking about objects on the Theater Square, in the Pioneer Park, on Polugor and in the Park of Heroes of the Civil War. The committee explained that these rooms are equipped with heating, which allows them to operate all year round.

The rest of the latrines are scheduled to be closed from October 31, 2026.
