In Kursk began to prepare city flower beds for the arrival of the first frosts

Specialists of the contracting company responsible for the maintenance of green areas of Kursk have started preparing flower beds for the winter season. Since the frost is not far off, landscapers strive to perform the main front of work in a short time.

First of all, annual plants that have lost decorativeness are removed from city flower beds, as well as flowers that have already bloomed. After cleaning the flower beds, the workers dig the soil, the Kursk mayor’s office said.

With the onset of stable night frosts, the next stage begins - agricultural technicians will take care of sheltering and pruning roses. In addition, the beds will remove fallen foliage and debris.

Special attention is paid to flower beds, where, together with annuals, cereal crops and perennial species are planted. Such compositions decorate the parks “Youth”, “Poetic”, “Kuryanochka”, as well as the Dzerzhinsky Park and other public spaces. Here, specialists prune plants and loosen the soil.
