In Kursk, the court will consider the claim to the entrepreneur for pillows with someone else’s trademark

The Arbitration Court of the Kursk region accepted in a simplified manner the claim from the company to the individual entrepreneur. We are talking about the recovery of compensation for violation of exclusive rights to the trademark.

From the materials of the case, it follows that the company appealed to the court with a demand to recognize the use of someone else’s trademark by the defendant as illegal.

According to the Internet monitoring, the entrepreneur sold products: pillows, decorative pillows and anti-stress pillows - using a designation similar to that of the plaintiff.

The applicant believes that the spread of decorative pillows is damaging to reputation and reduces consumer confidence.

The plaintiff demands to recover from the entrepreneur 100 thousand rubles of compensation for violation of the exclusive right to the trademark, as well as to reimburse court costs.
