In the Kursk region SARS sick 5756 people in a week

According to weekly monitoring, in the Kursk region, the incidence of SARS is recorded at the usual seasonal level. At the end of last week, 5,756 people fell ill, 62% of them are children.

Now respiratory viruses of nefripose etiology are circulating among the population: rhinoviruses, adenoviruses and parainfluenza. Preparations are underway for the flu season. Medical institutions in the region vaccinate at-risk groups on their sites and with the help of field teams.

Free flu vaccination can get children from 6 months and students 1-11 grades, students, employees of medical and educational institutions, transport and utilities, conscripts, pregnant women, adults over 60 years and people with chronic diseases.

Domestic vaccines are used for immunization. Children are vaccinated with drugs "Sovigripp" and "Ultrix", adults - "Sovigripp" and "Flu-M". Vaccines contain topical strains of the virus that are predicted to circulate in the 2026-2027 epidemic season.

125,308 people have received flu vaccines.

In Rospotrebnadzor noted that now there is a favorable environment for vaccination: the flu is not yet circulating. Residents of the region were urged to take care of their health and the health of others and get vaccinated in advance.
