In the Kursk region, the court retained alimony for a child left without a mother
Bailiffs asked to close the proceedings due to the death of the claimant

The Sujansky District Court considered the application of the bailiff-executor. The bailiff asked to stop the enforcement proceedings for the recovery of alimony from the father for the maintenance of a minor son. The cause was the death of the claimant - the mother of the child.
The court examined the circumstances and concluded that the death of the parent receiving alimony does not cancel the alimony obligations. The money is collected in the interests of the child, not his legal representative. The indication of the mother as a recoverer was due to the fact that the minor does not have full legal capacity and cannot independently dispose of funds.
In addition, the court found that the debtor has a debt. The application of the bailiff was refused. The definition has not yet entered into legal force.
