In Kuzbass, the owner of commercial real estate had to part with an impressive amount for heating
The total amount, including court costs, was even higher

As it became known from the message of the Mariinsky City Court, the regional court ordered the owner of non-residential premises located in an apartment building to repay the heating debt exceeding 350 thousand rubles. The conflict broke out in the city of Mariinsk between the owner of a commercial facility and a utility provider. The woman rented a room with an area of more than 80 square meters for the point of issuing orders. During this period, the utility filed claims for repayment of debt for heating, which, according to them, was not paid from 2021 to 2025.
“The owner of the premises did not accept the claims of the resource-supplying organization. She insisted that she did not receive thermal energy, because she herself blocked the valves on the heating devices. In her opinion, the pipes passing through her premises caused only technological losses, which should be covered at the expense of house expenses, and not at the expense of the specific owner, the Mariinsky City Court said.
However, during the proceedings it turned out that, despite the closed valves, the sealing was carried out by an organization that does not have the appropriate authority. Furthermore, it was found that the heating system had not been properly dismantled or insulated.
As a result, a resident of Mariinsk was obliged to pay the main debt for heating in the amount of 280 thousand rubles. In addition, she had to pay penalties in the amount of 50 thousand rubles and reimburse legal costs in the amount of 27 thousand rubles.
