In the St. Petersburg zoo was replenished in the family of rare lion-tailed primates Muli and Daman. The charming baby was born on September 17, the press service of the Leningrad Zoo reported. It is noteworthy that this species is in danger of extinction.

Zoo officials note that the sex of the newborn baby remains unknown. Now the cub spends all the time in his mother's arms, clinging tightly to her hair. This behavior is typical of primates - close contact allows the baby to stay safe, keep warm and regularly eat milk while the mother moves around the enclosure.

The mule perfectly copes with its duties and surrounded the newborn with maximum care. The baby eats well, quickly gains strength and already begins to gradually get acquainted with the world around him.
