In Lipetsk will add almost 2700 paid parking spaces

From November 16, the second stage of the parking system will begin to operate in the city. There will be 2,696 new parking spaces in 26 plots – in total, paid parking will cover 35 plots and more than 3,500 parking spaces. This was reported by the head of Lipetsk Mikhail Shcherbakov.

Parking is organized, in particular, on the streets of Nedelin, Soviet, Gagarin and Pervomayskaya, as well as in several city squares. The tariff will not change and will be 44 rubles per hour. Free time will be kept at some sites: up to 15 minutes in the 1000 zone and up to 90 minutes at social facilities in the 2000 zone.

The city also plans to expand the validity of resident permits: instead of linking to one address, residents will be able to park within the block. The new order is expected to be launched next year. In addition, the authorities are exploring the possibility of introducing parking passes.
