Agrarians of the Lipetsk region have already collected 4.6 million tons of sugar beet. Almost a quarter of this volume falls on the Dobrinsky district, where the harvest exceeded one million tons. At the same time, the harvesting campaign is still ongoing, so the final figures may grow.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Lipetsk region, the highest yield is now recorded in the Gryazinsky district. There, an average of 480 centners of root vegetables are obtained per hectare. For comparison, the average for the region is 434 centners per hectare.
Most of the harvest has already been harvested. At the beginning of the harvesting campaign, sugar beet had to be removed from the area of 118.5 thousand hectares. Now the works remained on the plots with a total area of 12.5 thousand hectares.
Thus, the farmers of the region left to remove a relatively small part of the crops. After the completion of the work, the final results of the season can be summed up.
