In the Lipetsk region repair hydraulic structure on the stream Upper Malovets

In the village of Volovo, capital repairs of the hydraulic structure on the Verkhny Malovets stream continue. Now specialists are equipping a new entrance head of the flood spillway, the regional Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology reported.

The design will work on the principle of bucket - to receive and divert flood water. This is an important part of the structure, which depends on the safe passage of water during its rise.

Special attention is paid to the protection of concrete from moisture and temperature changes. The surface is treated with a bitumen primer, after which a roll waterproofing material is laid. This coating should protect the concrete from destruction and extend the service life of the structure.
