In the Lipetsk region, a certificate for matcapital is issued without an application in most cases

Residents of the Lipetsk region in most cases do not need to independently apply for maternity capital after the birth of a child. The regional branch of the Social Fund of Russia issues an electronic certificate automatically, having received information from the registry office.

However, in some cases, parents will still have to apply. This applies, for example, to cases where the child has a foreign birth certificate or has been adopted.

Certificate can be issued through the portal of public services. To do this, you need to choose the service "Registration of Federal Maternity Capital", indicate the status of the applicant - mother or father, report information about the adoption, if any, and confirm Russian citizenship from the parent and child. You will also need to specify the order of birth of children, the period of birth or adoption, check personal data and fill out information about the child on the birth certificate.

Within five working days after submitting the application, you must submit supporting documents to the client service of the Social Fund. If all the necessary information is received on time, the electronic certificate will be sent to the personal account at the State Services within five working days from the date of receipt of the application. If the documents or data are not received within the deadline, the decision will be made within 15 working days.

Maternity capital funds can be used to improve living conditions, pay for children’s education in universities, courses, sports sections and circles, as well as for other intended purposes.
