In the Lipetsk region detained 21 foreigners during the operation “illegal”

Almost two million rubles of fines were recovered in the Lipetsk region following the results of the operation “Illegal-2026”. During the two stages of inspections, the police found 782 violations of migration rules and opened 14 criminal cases. This was reported in the regional MIA.

The police checked not only the places of residence of foreigners, but also markets, shopping centers, bus stations, utility companies and organizations where visitors work. In the field of view of law enforcement officers were both foreign citizens and their employers.

Among the detected violations are work without the necessary permits, non-compliance with the rules of stay in Russia and the transfer of false data when registering migration.

In addition, law enforcement officers detained 21 foreigners who were in the register of controlled persons. Another 47 people were ordered to leave the country, and 98 foreigners were barred from entering Russia. Checks on compliance with migration rules in the region will continue.
