In Luzhka will repair the street Central

In the near future, in the village of Luzhki, repairs of Central Street will begin - on the site from the entrance to the end of the street. The contractor is already determined, the contract is concluded. Construction and installation work is scheduled to be completed by mid-November.

Today, on behalf of the head of the Tambov administration, the head of the City Roads Directorate Artem Okhnev and the head of the Western Territorial Administration Roman Polenkov met with residents at the place of future work. During the meeting, the phasing of the work was discussed, as well as suggestions and comments of local residents.

Repair of Central Street is the continuation of a lot of improvement work. Earlier, a section of the Bokino-Luzhka access road with a length of about 1.5 km was put in order. In addition, a new traffic light was installed at the entrance to the village, thermoplastic markings were updated and lighting was equipped. These works were carried out at the request of residents, voiced during a meeting with the head of the region.

The renewal of Central Street will ensure unhindered public transport in the village. Thanks to cost savings, repairs will be made this year.

As part of the work, it is planned to correct the profile using rubble and lay the upper layer of asphalt. The length of the repaired site is 825 meters. Separately, the issue of possible repair of the left side of the street is being considered. The place for the arrangement of the turning ring for buses will be determined together with residents. Also, a request was received to arrange artificial irregularity - this will help limit the speed limit on the new road.
