In Makhachkala revealed the discharge of sewage into the lake Ak-Gel

In Makhachkala, the fact of discharge of sewage into the lake Ak-Gel through a pipeline has been established. This is reported by the Ministry of Natural Resources of Dagestan.

An on-site survey, including using a drone, was conducted by specialists of the Department of State Environmental Supervision together with employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs after reports in social networks about pollution of the lake.

The source of pollution, as it turned out, is sewage from houses on the streets of Buglenskaya, Khalimbekaul and Gejukhskaya in the Stepnoy microdistrict.

Specialists of the Republican branch of CLATI selected samples of wastewater for laboratory studies. After receiving the results, the Ministry of Natural Resources of the region will calculate the amount of harm caused to the water body and send the guilty person a claim for voluntary compensation. If the damage is not compensated, the recovery will be carried out in court, the ministry stressed.
