In addition to the main classes, the children will have an acquaintance with the history of energy, energy saving lessons, intellectual competitions, educational lectures, master classes from experts of the Marienergo branch, excursions to energy facilities will be held for them. Also, schoolchildren will get acquainted with the technological processes of the industry and will be able to take part in specialized competitions and the Rosseti Olympics. Teachers leading classes were trained at the National Research University "MEI".
This year, the participants of the project in the Republic of Mari El were more than fifty students of grades 8-9 of secondary school No. 30 in Yoshkar-Ola and secondary school No. 3 in Medvedevo, who plan to connect their future with engineering specialties in the electric power industry.
At the solemn ceremony of the beginning of the season, schoolchildren and teachers were invited to the management of the Marienergo branch. The organizers of the event told about the content of the course and its goals, offered the children to guess a thematic crossword puzzle with an interactive map of the presence of 20 regions of the company "Rosseti" and handed gifts with the company's symbols.
“The choice of profession begins long before entering university. Therefore, it is important that students can see how knowledge from the textbook is connected with real work, understand the content of the profession and consciously determine their further educational trajectory. In the energy circle, this opportunity is provided by teachers together with the company's specialists. For us, this is both an investment in the education of schoolchildren and the future human resources potential, said Boris Ebzeev, General Director of Rosseti Centre, the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region.
