The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Astrakhan region reminded of safety rules for fishing in the autumn
With the onset of autumn on the waters of the region, the number of fishing lovers is growing noticeably: many strive to have time to fish before the end of the open water season.

However, in pursuit of catch fishermen often neglect basic precautions, exposing themselves to serious danger.
The main risk on autumn fishing is a sharp change in weather conditions and falling water temperature. In the case of overturning the boat, the situation becomes especially dangerous: wet clothes significantly weight the person and pull down, and the cold rapidly constrains movement, reducing the chances of self-rescue.
Before going to the water, it is important to carefully check the condition of the boat. It is necessary to ensure the availability and serviceability of life jackets and other means of salvation. It is strictly forbidden to use the boat in excess of the permissible number of passengers or carrying capacity of the vessel, as well as in the absence of rescue equipment. It is not allowed to control the boat in a state of alcoholic intoxication, as well as in fog and limited visibility.
GIMS inspectors give a number of recommendations that will help make rest by the water safe. First of all, you should study the weather forecast before the trip. You also need to check the charge of the mobile phone – the means of communication plays an important role in an emergency. People with cardiovascular disease should take with them a supply of necessary medicines. A mandatory rule is to warn relatives and friends about the planned route and the approximate time of return: this will significantly accelerate the search if the fisherman does not return on time.
