The Ministry of Emergency Situations honored rescuers who showed high results in the harvesting campaign

Honoring the employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, who achieved high results in the harvesting campaign, was held today, October 22, in the Educational Center for Life Safety of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the correspondent of sb.by reports.

Belarusian rescuers annually not only ensure the safety of the harvest at all stages, from harvesting to drying and processing, but also participate in the harvest. In their free time, they sit at the helm of combine harvesters, the steering wheel of trucks and tractors, stand at the control panel of grain drying complexes.

This year, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations threshed, transported and processed more than 350 thousand tons of grain crops. 264 rescuers took part in the 2026 harvesting campaign, which is twice as many as last year. It is worth noting that 121 employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations threshed more than a thousand tons, and three - more than four thousand tons of grain.

- Traditionally, this work is very honorable in our country. It shows that people are ready to work selflessly for the development and prosperity of our state. In ensuring the food security of the country, you have done a great and hard job. It is very important not only to sow and grow in time, but also to remove, preserve and process the crop. We are proud that the Ministry of Emergency Situations in your person has provided assistance in solving this serious task. We are glad that the number of Emergencies Ministry employees participating in the harvest is growing. We hope that the contribution of Belarusian rescuers to the general loaf is quite significant.

Vadim Sinyavsky assured that rescuers will continue to help during suffering, and the department will support them morally and financially.

The Minister handed over valuable gifts to the farmers in epaulets.

- Even as a student, he worked on the combine for two seasons, and during his service in the Ministry of Emergency Situations - for the fifth summer. For me, this is a very interesting and useful experience. It is important to realize that in the huge loaf of the whole country there is my modest contribution. This summer we threshed 3,031 tons, and this is the best result in all years. It is very pleasant that the work did not go unnoticed, our management pays great attention and provides support.
