The Ministry of Emergencies recalled the risks of fog and frost

Today, October 15, in the morning in some areas of Belarus is expected fog, in places in the east of the frost. Rescuers reminded of the dangers in this weather. This was reported in the MOE, writes sb.by.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations recommends when driving in the fog to abandon unnecessary rearrangements, overtaking, advances. Most accidents in such conditions occur with a vehicle moving ahead. It is important to take into account that the fog hides the distance - it is advisable to increase the usual distance, reduce speed. Sudden braking should also be avoided: if necessary, the speed should be reduced smoothly. Caution will not be excessive, as when driving in the fog increases the fatigue of drivers.
