In the medical institution Apatitov information systems were poorly protected

In Apatity, the prosecutor’s office revealed violations of the legislation on the security of critical information infrastructure. This was reported by the press service of the Prosecutor’s office of the Murmansk region.

Information systems of one of the private medical organizations were subject to the requirement of categorization to protect against computer attacks. However, the categorization procedure was not completed, and information was not sent to the FSTEC of Russia on time, although the shortcomings had already been identified earlier.

This prevents the proper protection of information systems. The head of the medical organization was presented with an idea of eliminating violations.

Earlier, “MK in Murmansk” said that Roszdravnadzor found violations in the work of the Murmansk ophthalmological center.
