More than 100 young northerners from 12 municipal districts of the Arkhangelsk region took part in the regional competition dedicated to the Day of Agricultural Workers. The jury received almost 90 works, both individual and collective.
The most interesting was the nomination “Miracles from the usual bed”: 77 creative crafts on the topic of agriculture were presented among children aged 7-13. Leaders in the number of works were Primorsky, Onega, Ustyansky and Welsky districts. As a basis, the participants took vegetables and fruits, fantasizing and creating together with parents and teachers, the young masters showed not only artistic abilities, but also resourcefulness and original thinking.
“It is important for us that the guys not only fantasized, but meaningfully connected their ideas with the work in the village and the work of farmers,” said Irina Bazhanova, Minister of Agriculture and Trade of the Arkhangelsk Region. The jury evaluated the works on three criteria: creativity, connection with agriculture and technique of execution. This reflects our approach to the development of the industry: we need fresh ideas, an understanding of the essence of the profession, and the ability to do our job qualitatively.
