Autumn open-air fairs will start in Minsk on September 19 - markets will unfold in all districts of the capital, and the territory near Chizhovka Arena and the Sports Palace will become lava platforms. This is reported by news.by.
According to the head of the Main Department of Trade and Services of the Minsk City Executive Committee Elena Nagornya, fairs traditionally begin work after the celebration of the City Day. In 2026, the launch is scheduled for September 19.
At Chizhovka Arena, the city agricultural fair will be held weekly on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the season. Another agricultural fair will take place at the Sports Palace.
Buyers will be offered a wide range of products: vegetables (potatoes, onions, beets), berries, mushrooms, honey, fish, as well as confectionery and bakery products. The goods will be presented by more than 50 agricultural enterprises of the republic.
For the elderly and disabled citizens, assistance in the delivery of purchased goods is organized.
Elena Nagornaya also explained the procedure for participation in fairs.
If a decision is made to organize trade on a particular site, you need to contact the department of trade and services of the administration of the area on the territory of which the site is located, write a corresponding application, provide a copy of the certificate that there is a site where agricultural products are grown. It is also necessary to fulfill the most important requirement when organizing trade - it is the order at your workplace, said the head of the main department of trade and services of the Minsk City Executive Committee.
Agricultural fairs will run until December, depending on weather conditions. You can find out the addresses, time and dates of the markets on the website of the Minsk City Executive Committee.
