In the evening, the accused was in the underground parking lot of the shopping center on Mstislavets street. There he noticed an unlocked car with a bag in the back seat. A foreigner entered the salon and stole other people's property.
In the bag lay a laptop with a charger, keys, contact lens case, icon, headphones, ointment and deodorant.
The victim, returning from shopping, immediately noticed the bag missing. The witness told him that he saw a black guy in the car. A man and his wife went to look for a thief in a shopping center.
Suddenly, the woman saw a similar description of a witness of a young man in whose hands was her husband’s bag, and called him out. He got scared, threw a load into a food cart and fled. The victim reported the incident to the police.
The suspect's identity was established from CCTV footage. He was arrested and a criminal case was opened. He fully confessed his guilt in the incriminated crime and repented.
- The accused has a secondary education, he is not officially employed anywhere, he was not previously brought to criminal responsibility, said Yulia Lugovskaya, senior assistant prosecutor of the Pervomaysky district, who acted as a state prosecutor in the criminal case. The court found him guilty of secret theft of property (theft) and on the basis of Part 1 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code imposed a fine of 50 basic units (2,250 BYN).
