In Minsk will create another site of the city technopark

Several more promising sites can be converted to meet the needs of the Minsk City Technopark. Its development was told by the Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee Vladimir Kukharev in an interview with the newspaper “Evening Minsk” on the eve of the 959th anniversary of the city, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency reports.

Technoparks are important platforms for transforming scientific developments into new technologies and product samples. Minsk City Technopark as a subject of such infrastructure has received good development.

- More than 70% of the products of its residents belong to the high-tech sector. Our city technopark operates on two sites. They're on the street. Soltys, etc. Partisan. In addition, the construction of another site on the street is being completed. Central, and next to it will soon begin the construction of another. By the way, almost all capacities on the territory have already been contracted, said the chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee.

According to him, this is not planned to stop: in the capital there are several promising sites that can be converted to the needs of the technopark.

- And I want to note separately that the creation of technology parks to a certain extent solves the issue of the effectiveness of land use, Kukharev added. Our approaches to the development of the Minsk City Technopark are fully supported by the Head of State. He instructed to develop this direction further.
