In Minsk, 21 children were born on City Day – 11 girls and 10 boys
While Minsk was celebrating its 959th anniversary, 21 children were born in the maternity hospitals of the capital - residents of the city seemed to present a special gift to their beloved Minsk.

On September 12, 21 children were born in Minsk. This is reported by the health department of the Minsk City Executive Committee.
On the day of the celebration of the 959th anniversary of Minsk, the capital received a special gift from its residents: 21 babies – 11 girls and 10 boys – were born in the maternity hospitals of the city on September 12.
The health department said that all key medical institutions of the city participated in the festive baby boom. So, the 1st maternity hospital took three newborns (two boys and one girl), the 2nd – seven babies at once (three boys and four girls).
In the 5th maternity hospital, three children were born (two boys and one girl), and in the 6th - seven more babies (two boys and five girls). In addition, one child was born in the RSPC “Mother and Child”.
A special symbolism of the event is given by the fact that the first baby was born at the beginning of the day: in the 6th maternity hospital at 02:09, the first baby crying was heard. For a young mother, these births were the first, and a healthy girl weighing 3230 grams was born. It turned out to be the earliest and most touching “gift” to Minsk on its festive day.
Representatives of the Health Department of the Minsk City Executive Committee wished all newborns and their families good health. They expressed hope that September 12 will be the starting point for children to live a big, happy and peaceful life.
