The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection reminded who is entitled to an additional professional pension – an increase to the usual old-age pension. It is given to those who worked in special working conditions, were subject to occupational pension insurance and did not receive an early pension. This sb.by reported in the press service of the Ministry.

The main condition is work in special working conditions (harmful, dangerous, heavy or other). It is also necessary to permanently reside in Belarus, reach the generally established retirement age (men - 63 years, women - 58 years) and have pension savings on a personal account in the FSZN, which are formed by additional contributions from the employer. This benefit can be obtained regardless of other pensions, even if you continue to work.
The amount of additional professional pension is established in the amount of the subsistence minimum budget. In August 2026, BPM amounted to 530.37 rubles (in this amount - until October 31, 2026). In August 2026, more than 9 thousand citizens received it in the amount of 49 percent of the amount of their old-age pension.
Under special working conditions refers to work with harmful, dangerous factors or high professional load. The legislation distinguishes 15 categories. The most harmful ("List No. 1") give the right to a pension 10 years earlier: this is a roller of the forest, an electrical mechanic of an underground section, a crane driver, a passer, a thermist and others. Harmful and heavy conditions ("List No. 2") entitle you to a pension 5 years earlier: asphalt concrete worker, gas cutter, mason, painter, path cleaner, electric welder and others.
Among other categories of workers entitled to benefits for special working conditions are teachers and doctors (early pension with an experience of 25-30 years), women weavers, agricultural workers (animal breeders, pig breeders, milkmaids, machine milking operators, tractor drivers), as well as urban transport drivers, geologists, aviators, artists and athletes.
