In Mordovia will expand support for students with young children

In Mordovia, from November 1, 2026, part of the cost of maintaining children in kindergarten will begin to compensate students of colleges and technical schools. The new support measure is designed for those studying full-time and raising preschool children.

Previously, only university staff could count on parental payment reimbursement. Now this opportunity will be extended to students of secondary vocational education. For young parents, this will be an additional help to combine education with child care and reduce the costs of the family budget.

To introduce the benefits, the deputies of the State Assembly of the Republic amended the regional law on social support of the population. The new rules will take effect from November 1, 2026.
