In the Moscow region found a courier who took 6.3 million rubles resident of Morshansk

Tambov police officers identified and detained a young man who acted as a courier in the theft of a large sum from a local resident. This was reported in the regional MIA.

According to the agency, in the summer in the duty part of the police Department “Morshansky” received a statement from a woman who became a victim of fraudsters. Following the well-known scheme, the scammer in one of the messengers introduced himself as an employee of the special services and convinced the victim to “declar” his savings. To do this, the woman was required to transfer all savings in the agreed place, allegedly to be credited to a “safe account”. Trusting the attacker, she lost 6.3 million rubles.

In fact, a criminal case was opened for fraud on an especially large scale.

During the investigation, operatives managed to get on the trail of the suspect. As a result of the coordinated work of the police in the Moscow region, a 21-year-old boy was detained - it was to him that the woman gave her money. A preventive measure in the form of detention was chosen against the defendant. He will now face legal action for participating in a fraudulent scheme.
