In “Moscow City” and “Skolkovo” will remove the barriers

From December 12, motorists will be able to enter the Moscow City business center and Skolkovo innovation center under the new system

Published

From December 12, motorists will be able to enter the Moscow City business center and Skolkovo innovation center under the new system. Tariffs for entry into the zone do not change, and instead of barriers will install more modern automatic cameras.

Photo and video cameras will work automatically. It is expected that the rejection of barriers will make travel for motorists even more comfortable, speed up traffic and help reduce queues at entrances and exits.

The need for changes is associated with a high load on the territory: on weekdays, more than 150,000 people visit Moscow City, and more than 30,000 Skolkovo. The new system should also reduce the congestion of adjacent roads.

Next year, a similar barrier-free entry system is planned to be introduced in the territory of the Sbercity innovation district under construction.
