Maintenance of gas equipment in four houses was restored in Murmansk

In Murmansk, maintenance of indoor gas equipment was restored in four houses. This was reported by the press service of the Prosecutor’s office of the Murmansk region.

The Prosecutor’s office of the Oktyabrsky district checked compliance with the legislation on gas supply. It turned out that houses 5 and 7 on Papanina Street, 20 on Polukhin Street and 10 on Chapaev Street were previously managed by the Comfort Society. After the expiration of the license of the management company, the tenants chose a direct method of management and concluded contracts with the service organizations “MKD Murmansk Latitudes” and “Pyramid”.

Murmanoblgaz sent these organizations draft contracts for the maintenance of gas equipment. But at the time of the inspection, the contracts were not signed, so the equipment was not serviced. By law, the absence of such a contract can be a reason for suspending the supply of gas to the house.

The prosecutor's office issued warnings to the heads of service organizations. They were reminded that for evasion of the contract can be brought to administrative responsibility. Now contracts for the maintenance of gas equipment of all these houses have been concluded, the work is underway in full.

Earlier, “MK in Murmansk” said that for the gas pipeline “Volkhov – Murmansk” will cut down 37 thousand “squares” of forest for 22 million rubles.
