In the Murmansk region for the week registered 4642 cases of SARS. This was reported in the Department of Rospotrebnadzor in the Murmansk region.

According to the Agency, most of the sick children of schoolchildren — 45.3%. Another 34.8% are children aged three to six years.

Between October 12 and 18, one patient was laboratory confirmed with influenza. Most patients have other respiratory viruses. In Rospotrebnadzor noted that the incidence rate corresponds to the season.

COVID-19 remains stable in the region. For several weeks, only isolated cases of the disease are detected.

In autumn and winter, the risk of catching a respiratory infection increases. To reduce the likelihood of infection, experts advise washing hands more often, dressing for the weather and, if possible, avoiding crowded places. It is also important to limit contact with patients, cover the nose and mouth with a disposable napkin when coughing and sneezing.
