On October 17, in Vechash (branch of the Museum-Estate of N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov), a joint exhibition of members of the Union of Artists of Russia Irina Abakumova and Yuri Ryzhkov was opened. Details of “MK in Pskov” told in the press service of the Pskov Museum-Reserve.
According to the head of the branch of the Pskov Museum Olga Zhukovsky, the artists have long known each other, and their joint projects have already been successfully held in Pskov and Opochka. The current exhibition is a kind of creative competition of masters of different generations: each has its own techniques, favorite colors, themes and image objects. At the same time, both authors share the desire to find and increase beauty in everyday life.
The exhibition will run until December 13, 2026. Visitors are invited to evaluate the individual handwriting of artists and see how different masters interpret familiar subjects and images.
