In NAO, the platform of the career guidance month was an agrarian and economic college

The first All-Russian month of career guidance brought together more than 200 thousand participants across the country.

The start was given by the federal forum “Russia – My Horizons” in Moscow, then similar forums were held throughout the country, including in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug. The Nenets Agrarian-Economic College named after V.G. Volkov became the platform in the NAO, and the organizer was the Center for Advanced Professional Training. Students tried different directions on thematic areas and interactive platforms.

- Our main task is to help students decide who they want to become. For some of the children, this is already clear, but many are doubtful, and the forum gives an opportunity to try and understand what is closer to them, said Oksana Danilova, director of the Nenets Agrarian and Economic College named after V.G. Volkov.

During September, children across the country participated in professional tests, excursions to enterprises, master classes and meetings with employers. They got acquainted with engineering, medical, agricultural, IT professions, the nuclear industry, unmanned systems and other areas.

An important role is played by the course "Russia - my horizons": it has resumed in all schools of the country and now places a special emphasis on the opportunities of the region - so that schoolchildren see the prospects close to home. Within the month, the All-Russian career guidance week from Rosmolodezh was also held. Prof. with the support of the Humanitarian Projects Foundation (federal operator of Ticket to the Future).

The campaign ended with the National Prize “Russia – My Horizons” in Moscow: it noted the best practices and awarded teachers, schools, employers and schoolchildren.

Work on the Unified model of career guidance “Ticket to the Future” continues throughout the academic year and covers 8.5 million schoolchildren of grades 6-11.
