In Neftekumsk, police rescued a 73-year-old woman from a burning apartment

The police received an appeal from a resident of Neftekumsk. The woman thanked the police for the rescue of his 73-year-old grandmother, reported in the regional Glavka.

The incident occurred on September 17, 2026. Police officers noticed smoke in an apartment building standing directly in front of the interior department. The first to arrive was the head of the precinct commissioners and the juvenile affairs unit, the head of the economic security and anti-corruption department, the head and electronics engineer of the duty unit, as well as the senior criminal investigation officer.

Seeing that from the balcony of the fourth floor of the woman called for help, the police began to notify the residents: knocked on the door and urged to leave the building immediately. Three employees opened the apartment, from which there was thick smoke, and took the pensioner to the landing. Then, despite the heavy smoke, alternately went inside and checked all the rooms.

The EMERCOM specialists extinguished the fire. The granddaughter of the rescued woman thanked the police for their courage, determination and willingness to come to the rescue in a dangerous situation.
