In Nevelsky district stopped the illegal transportation of a ton of meat of wild animals

Employees of the North-Western Interregional Department of the Rosselkhoznadzor stopped an attempt to import controlled products with violations of veterinary and sanitary rules. The incident occurred in the village of Lobok Nevelsk municipal district.

During the inspection, inspectors found about a ton of roe deer, deer and elk meat in the vehicle. It turned out that the products did not have the necessary markings, labels and veterinary accompanying documents confirming its safety. In addition, the transportation was carried out in violation of the temperature regime: there was no refrigeration equipment in the car.

Since the movement of such a consignment through the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union without proper registration is prohibited, the cargo was detained. Protocols on administrative offenses have been drawn up against violators, and the entire batch of meat has been returned to the territory of the Republic of Belarus.
