In Nikolsky chapel at the well of Elder Zosima crowned with a new dome

In the Holy Dormition Nikolo-Vasilyevsky Monastery in the village of Nikolskoe, Volnovakh district, a landmark event took place: the chapel near the well, where Elder Zosima rests, was crowned with a new dome created by masters from the Trans-Baikal Territory.

The initiator and direct participant of the installation was the clergyman Alexander Tylkevich from the city of Shilka, who arrived in Donbass for the fourteenth time. The portal "Culture 75" with reference to the clergyman recalled that during the period of active hostilities, the borders of the monastery were defended by Trans-Baikal fighters, who are remembered here with deep gratitude. Now this dome will become a joyful symbol of the indestructible connection of the regions.

In addition to construction work, the pastor continues his liturgical mission: conducts the sacraments of baptism, consecrates places and serves the liturgy in an equipped underground church. During the visit, he also delivered to the advanced medicines, candles and other necessary assistance for the fighters.
