In the Nizhny Novgorod region recorded isolated cases of influenza

In the Nizhny Novgorod region recorded isolated cases of influenza. For the week from October 12 to 18, the regional Rospotrebnadzor registered more than 13 thousand cases of SARS, but the incidence remains below the annual average level. Among the pathogens, rhinoviruses and parainfluenza dominate.

Due to the high incidence, one kindergarten is completely closed for quarantine. Partial restrictions were introduced in 34 classes of ten schools and in 42 groups of 38 preschool institutions.

Vaccination campaign against influenza continues: more than 757 thousand doses of Ultrix Quadri, Sovigripp and Flu-M vaccines were prepared for it.

As of October 19, more than 540,000 residents of the region, including more than 220,000 children, were vaccinated. Experts remind that this season the composition of vaccines is completely updated.
