In the Nizhny began sea trials of the liner “Nikolai Zharkov”

The head cruise liner of project 00840 Karelia - Nikolai Zharkov - left the completion embankment of the Nizhny Novgorod plant USC "Red Sormovo" and went on sea trials.

At the first stage, specialists will check how the main power plant, navigation systems, communications and automation work, as well as assess the maneuverability, speed and vibration noise characteristics of the vessel. The liner was made compact and maneuverable so that it passed narrow locks and shallow areas. On board can accommodate 180 passengers: for them there is a panoramic restaurant with a veranda, a music salon, a wine library, a fitness center, a spa with a hammam and a sauna, as well as an outdoor pool.

The vessel is being built by order of Vodohod, its laying took place on April 28, 2023.
