In Novocheboksarsk completed the second stage of improvement of the bridge in Ivanovo

In the district of Ivanovo completed the second stage of improvement of the pedestrian bridge. At the facility installed modern lighting, said the head of Novocheboksarsk Alexander Alekseev.

The bridge connects the neighborhood with the Volga beach and remains a popular pedestrian route. In 2025, urgent repairs were carried out here.

At the same time, the design of the bridge has technical limitations: the structure has a roll, and the device of full-fledged ramps is impossible.

A long-term solution is being developed to improve accessibility. As part of the federal project “Formation of a comfortable urban environment”, it is planned to build a gentle descent for people with limited mobility and parents with wheelchairs.

In recent years, new residential buildings, sidewalks, a school and other infrastructure facilities have also appeared in the Ivanovo microdistrict.
