Since October 26, in connection with major repairs for a year, the movement of vehicles on the bridge over the river Neman on km 16,470 of the road N-6325 Lyubcha - Shchorsy - the border of the Minsk region, writes sb.by.
First Deputy General Director of Grodnoobldorstroy Alexander Martsulevich said that the bridge was built in 1984, and for more than 40 years of operation it regularly carried out maintenance and maintenance work:
- However, with the growth of the cargo fleet, there was a need for major repairs. The project provides for strengthening the span structure by changing the scheme of the bridge from the beam-cutting to the beam-cutting with the device of a monolithic overhead reinforced concrete reinforcement plate included in the work together with the beams of the span structure. Also, the supports and rigs will be repaired, the supporting parts of the beams will be replaced, the cones of the shore supports will be put in order and lighting will be installed on the bridge. For pedestrians and cyclists, the passage over the bridge will remain during the repair. Motorists are offered a detour route along the local road N-6202 Eremichi - Sinyavskaya Sloboda - the border of the Novogrudok district with exit to the republican road R-11.
The bridge over the Neman River on the kilometer 16,470 of the highway N-6325 Lubcha - Shchorsy - the border of the Minsk region has a length of 295.31 m and in accordance with the classifier refers to large road bridges.
Based on the above survey, Grodnoobldorstroy included in the work program the overhaul of the structure for 2026-2027. To reduce the time of repair and, accordingly, save budgetary funds, work on major repairs of the structure will be carried out with a complete closure of traffic for the entire period of repair, from October 26 this year to October 25, 2027. Passage of pedestrians during the repair period will be ensured. The circuit of the closed section of the road is attached.
The total cost of repairs is 9 million.
