In the new rehab center in Alexin will teach young people with disabilities to live independently

In Alexin opened a department of social rehabilitation center “My opportunities”. This is the first platform of this format outside Tula, said the Governor of the Tula region Dmitry Milyaev in his channel in the national messenger MAX.

In a specially equipped apartment, young people with disabilities over 18 years old will be able to master the skills necessary in everyday life. They will learn how to cook, take care of themselves, run a house, plan purchases and expenses. Specialists will also help participants develop communication skills and decide on a professional direction.

The course is designed for 21 working days. Classes will be held in small groups - no more than four people.

Speaking of rehabilitation... Earlier, MK in Tula wrote that a veteran of a special military operation from Tula received clothes made taking into account the peculiarities of his health. It is provided as a technical means of rehabilitation for everyday wear, recovery and sports. The kit is selected individually, taking into account the physical condition of the veteran, his size and a suitable model. It includes three clothing options: summer, winter and demi-season.
