In the Novosibirsk region, students will rest one day less

In the new academic year, the total duration of school holidays will be 126 days. This is a day less than a year earlier, follows from the recommendations of the Ministry of Education of Russia, reports RIA Novosti.

The rest schedule depends on the distribution of study time by quarters. At the same time, the final vacation dates are determined independently by educational institutions together with local education authorities.

According to the recommended schedule, the autumn holidays will last until November 3. In winter, schoolchildren will rest from December 31 to January 10, and in spring - from March 27 to April 4.

Summer holidays will begin on May 27 and end on August 31. For pupils of the first grades, an additional break in study is also provided - from 15 to 21 February 2027.

The Ministry of Education stressed that these dates are advisory in nature. Therefore, specific rest periods may vary depending on the decision of the school administration and regional features.
