In the Novosibirsk region shot the bear, eating meat of cattle

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Novosibirsk region reports that a bear was eliminated in the region, which for a long time ate the meat of farm animals and gained about 500 kilograms of weight. As explained in the Ministry, from the spring of 2025 to August 2026, this bear repeatedly went to grazing places in the Vengerovsky district and attacked farm animals.

According to the agency, during this period, about 40 heads were allegedly uprooted, the animal ate meat for a long time and, according to visual estimates, reached about 500 kilograms. The Ministry of Natural Resources noted that reports on these facts were not received by the Ministry in a timely manner. The information became known later, which made it difficult to respond quickly and take the necessary measures.

The ministry stressed that the animal has been eliminated and no longer poses a threat.

Earlier it was reported that the Russian generated a photo using a neural network and was put on trial.
