In Orenburg will bring the ark with part of the Belt of the Most Holy Mother of God: when and where to worship

The Ark arrives on Monday, October 26. From October 26 to 29, residents of Orenburg will be able to worship the shrine. The solemn meeting is scheduled for 8:00 am on October 26 in Nikolsky Cathedral. Immediately after that, the Divine Liturgy will begin.

What else is important to know. On the days of the ark’s stay in the temple, prayers will be regularly performed with the reading of the akathist.

Bringing such a shrine is an event for believers that goes beyond the usual liturgical calendar. The Belt of the Most Holy Mother of God is revered as one of the main relics, and the opportunity to worship even its part for many Orenburgers will be an important spiritual event.
