In Orenburg, an unknown man shot a dog in the yard and walked with a weapon near the school and kindergarten

The gunshot itself was not loud - the owner of the dog did not hear it, but ran out of the house on a tearing dog squeal. I saw a bloody wound on the dog. After 20 minutes, they were already in the veterinary clinic, where Gerde had an X-ray. It was only then that it became clear that inside the small body there was a bullet that passed through the internal organs. The doctors conducted an urgent operation: they sewed up internal injuries, removed the spleen. But the dog didn't survive. A bullet with a diameter of 5.5 mm with a cross-shaped notch was removed from the body - presumably from an air weapon, the victim told Orenday.

Gerda was a household favorite. Six years ago, a one-year-old puppy was thrown out by a careless owner. After seeing the announcement that volunteers were looking for a home for him, the family decided to take the cheerful baby to their home. Since then, Gerda has responded every second with devotion and love. She never roamed the streets unattended: in the afternoon, in the warm season, she was left to walk on tethers for several hours outside the house - in the front garden behind the mesh fence, in the evening she was brought home. The dog was calm, small and did not bother either neighbors or passers-by.

“Our house is opposite the playground, 30 meters away. We believe the shooter fired from around the corner of the sauna adjacent to the playground. Surveillance cameras can trace part of his path - he walked at least two kilometers, went purposefully to our house! We gave the bullet to the police station. In appearance, it seems to be one of those cartridges that hunters buy for hunting small game, says the owner of the dog.

In cold blood, making a shot a few meters from the playground, the man put the weapon in the package and went back. His route passed through the Goncharnaya, Vyazemsky, Musa Jalil, Aktobe streets, Sapozhny, Housing and Factory lanes. He passed the kindergarten and the playground, walked next to the Orthodox gymnasium. He was well aware of the location of the security cameras - covered his face with his hand, turned away.

Signs of men: above average height, lean physique. He was wearing a special with reflective elements on his chest, sleeves and back, a cap with a pixelated camouflage pattern, khaki pants and dark shoes. He is wanted by police officers - the application was filed, he faces criminal liability.

Residents of the neighborhood are worried about their children, parents after the incident are afraid to let them go to the playground.

This case is alarming from several sides. Firstly, the dog was domesticated, was tethered on the territory of a private household and did not pose a threat - a shot at it looks like senseless cruelty. Secondly, the shooter acted in close proximity to the playground, school, kindergarten and Orthodox gymnasium, that is, the risk to people was quite real. Third, the man clearly prepared: he walked purposefully, knew the location of the cameras and covered his face. This is not an accidental shot, but a conscious action. Police are looking for the shooter and any information from residents could help. But most importantly, parents in the neighborhood are already afraid to let their children go to the playground, and this shows how much such incidents hit the feeling of safety in their own yard.
