In Orel during a search of a local resident found drugs

In Orel, police seized a synthetic drug from a 36-year-old local resident. Law enforcement officers discovered the prohibited substance by accident - during the investigation of another criminal case.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, police officers came with a search of the man’s apartment to check him for involvement in another offense. During the inspection of the rooms, operatives of the drug control department found a bag of white powder.

The examination showed that the seized substance is methylephedron weighing 0.32 grams. The owner of the apartment explained that he kept the drug only for personal use.

Against Orlovets opened a criminal case under part 1 of article 228 of the criminal code of the Russian Federation. Before the trial, the defendant was left under a subscription not to leave.
