On the eve of the Day of road workers in the regional administration held a solemn event. Governor Andrey Klychkov congratulated employees and veterans of the industry on their professional holiday and presented well-deserved awards.

According to the head of the region, since the beginning of the year, the region is ahead of the schedule for the development of federal funds by 23%. Over the past 7 years, more than 1,700 km of roads have been repaired in Orel region, and the volume of financing of the industry has increased by more than 2 times. Also, thanks to the renewal of the tracks, the number of fatalities in road accidents for 15 years decreased by almost 3.5 times.

For conscientious work, road workers received certificates and gratitude from the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation and the regional administration.
