In the Orel region summed up the action “Messages where they trade death”

In the Orel region ended the action “Messages where they trade in death”. It was aimed at combating drug trafficking. More than 9 thousand people took part in preventive measures, half of them are teenagers. Together with the police, doctors, volunteers and representatives of the Cossacks participated in the raids.

During the campaign, experts checked more than 400 recreation places for young people and entertainment establishments. 34 messages were received from residents of the region. In most cases, the Orlovites reported the facts of trafficking in prohibited substances and suspicious sites on the Internet. Due to the activity of citizens, the police identified 12 crimes and 20 administrative offenses, and seized 465 grams of drugs from circulation.

The press service of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs noted that the action helped not only to stop specific crimes, but also to establish a lively dialogue with the population. Appeals made it possible to quickly block resources with illegal content and draw attention to the rehabilitation of dependents.
