In the Park “Yamka” of Petrozavodsk will appear additional lighting

The administration of Petrozavodsk announced the update of the illumination systems in the Yamka Park. The work will be carried out by the local municipal organization Petrozavodsk Energy Systems.

As specified in the city administration, experts will lay a new electric cable with a length of almost 800 meters, which will cover the Circular Alley, the Stone Garden, as well as the Alley Asafovskie oaks. 30 new lampposts will be installed in these areas.

In addition, utilities plan to completely replace 77 outdated or out of order lighting fixtures in the recreation area.

It should be noted that the improvement of the park is not the first year. Earlier, the staircase from the side of Gogol Street (Krizhevy Descent) was updated here, artistic illumination was mounted near the memorial complex with the Eternal Flame, and idle lamps were replaced.
