In the Penza region, since 2024, the program “Certificate of Health of the newlyweds” has been operating, which allows spouses to check their reproductive health free of charge and get help from specialists when planning a pregnancy. To date, 205 families from Penza have used this opportunity.

According to the press service of the city administration, the program is implemented within the framework of the national project “Family” and is aimed at supporting young spouses who plan to have children.
The certificate can be obtained by men and women with Russian citizenship, permanently or temporarily residing in the Penza region and registered marriage in the region. The document is issued on the day of registration of marriage in the territorial department of the registry office at the place of marriage.
The certificate gives the right to undergo a reproductive health examination and get advice from specialized specialists. If necessary, spouses can also develop an individual pregnancy preparation program and provide further medical support.
The document is valid for one year from the date of registration of the marriage.
