In Penza, ten figures of “Penzyak-goods” appeared QR codes

In Penza, near all ten bronze figures of the “Penzyakov-Dobryakov” appeared information plates with QR codes. Now residents and guests of the city can learn the names of miniature characters, the history of their appearance and the meaning of each composition. This was reported by the head of Penza Oleg Denisov.

According to him, to get information about the figure, it is enough to point the smartphone camera at the QR code. The user will open information about the character, the reasons for choosing a place for its installation and the features of the composition.

Oleg Denisov noted that the project “Penzyaki-dobryaki”, initiated by the tourist information center of the Belinsky Park, received a great response among citizens.

“Penzyak-goodies” won the hearts of citizens. They knit cozy scarves and capes, shoot videos with them. I am glad that the initiative of our tourist information center of Belinsky Park has received such warm support! We continue to develop the project, the mayor shared.

The head of the city recalled that ten bronze figurines were installed on the streets of Penza on the eve of the 363rd anniversary of the founding of the city. They combine the main attractions of the regional center into a single tourist route.

The project was implemented at the expense of funds received from the tourist tax.

Oleg Denisov also announced plans for the further development of the initiative. In 2027, it is planned to manufacture and install several more figures that will complement the existing route.

“Initiative citizens are already offering their options – we will definitely take them into account,” he concluded.
